Rape: Ondo gov’s wife employs Taekwondo instructors to teach girls self-defence

Wife of Ondo state Governor, Mrs. Betty Akeredolu, has engaged the services of Taekwondo professionals to teach younger women on the sport for self defence against rapists.

Mrs. Akeredolu stated this on Friday, whilst she added a letter to the Commissioner of Police in Ondo state, Mr. Undie Adie, to specific her displeasure over the rising incidents of rape within the state.

The governor’s wife was at the visit to Adie’s office over the rape of a student of Adekunle Ajasin university, Akungba Akoko, through squaddies on the Ikare/Akungba checkpoint remaining week.
