Former Chelsea superstar, David Luiz will put on the number 23 at Arsenal, the club has confirmed.
Luiz finished a closing date day switch to Arsenal after the 2 clubs agreed on a £8million switch price
The Brazilian global finished a closing date day transfer to the Emirate Stadium on Thursday.
The 32-yr-old centre again has a lot of experience and has made 524 club appearances in a profession spanning 13 seasons.
Luiz began his career with Vitoria in Brazil, earlier then moving to Portugal where he played for Benfica.
He also had two spells with Chelsea and spent years in France with Paris Saint-Germain, where he performed under now Arsenal boss, Unai Emery.
He has 56 international appearances for Brazil to his call.
Unai Emery told Arsenal website, “David has huge experience and that i look forward to running with him again. He’s a widely known player and adds to our defensive energy.
David will put on the number 23 shirt.”
