Bruno Fernandes double leads Manchester United to win against Everton

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got a much-needed result at Goodison Park today as Manchester United fought back to beat Everton 3-1.

The international break follows the weekend action – a window which has previously seen managers get the boot ahead of the busy festive schedule – and local reports claim Mauricio Pochettino has been approached.

The visitors started badly with Bernard giving Everton the lead – but Solskjaer side rallied through a Bruno Fernandes brace to enter half-time 2-1 up, and a late Edinson Cavani goal sealed three valuable points.

CAVANI GOAL

Cavani scores his first goal for Manchester United! Everton look for an equaliser, but United break through Bruno – he carries the ball right up to the penalty area, cuts it left for Cavani, who calmly slots the ball into the bottom right-hand corner of the net!
